Fragrance Haul : Voyage from The Body Shop
Hi Friends! In today’s blogpost I would like to haul this new VOYAGE collection from The Body Shop Indonesia. The collection consists of Eau de Toilette, Fragrance Mist, Shower Gel, Body Cream, and Body Lotion. But in this post I will only show you the Eau de Toilettes.
There are 5 scents in this collection, each of them inspired by the nature from all around the world. First of all, the packaging are extremely beautiful! Love the designs on the boxes and of course I’m also in love with the perfume bottle design. I think it looks gorgeous and luxurious. Somehow they remind me of gems with their beautiful colors. Now let’s go through each scents.
Japanese Cherry Blossom
This one is represented by the color of pink. It suits the perfume perfectly, since this one smells very sweet yet fresh, delicate, floral, and feminine. Reminds me of spring with beautiful flower garden. I think a feminine girly girl would enjoy Japanese Cherry Blossom very much. The scents is a blend of magnolia, cherry blossoms, and hinoki wood.
Atlas Mountain Rose
Atlas Mountain Rose is represented by a deeper, slightly purple, pink. I love the scent of this one, because it’s sweet yet spicy, very floral and mature at the same time. I feel sexy when I wore it. Very appropriate for a night event or a date night. The scent is a blend of cassis buds, rose, and warm spices.
Italian Summer Fig
This new scent is called Italian Summer Fig, obviously it was inspired by the fruit, Fig, from Italy. This smells very fresh! Perfect for summer or for you who likes the smell of nature. Freshly sprayed, it smells like the rainforest, the leaves, the trees, everything green! This scent is a blend of grape leaf, summer fig, and woody facets.
Fijian Water Lotus
Fijian Water Lotus to me is a very fresh scent yet still floral. It is very unique, I don’t think I have smelled anything like it before! Smells like the ocean, very calming and fresh. It is a blend of mandarin, water lotus, and marine saltiness.
Indian Night Jasmine
Jasmine! One of my personal favorite flower and scent. It has always been brings good, calm vibes. This Indian Night Jasmine is a warm and floral scent. Feels luxurious yet calming to me. If I have to choose only one, it will be this one. It’s a blend of violet leaf, jasmine, and sandalwood.
So, that’s it for the haul! The Body Shop is famous for their no testing on animals policy and 100% vegetarian. The scents are formulated fresh from the nature. I definitely enjoy this new voyage collection. I hope my post helped you to find your perfect scents! Love, Nadya.

Review : Maybelline The Nudes & Velvet Matte
Hi lovelies! Today i’m bringing you another DRUGSTORE product review, isn’t it exciting?:D For detailed review, swatches, and demo/tutorial please watch my video below :
https://youtu.be/XUv_NfgLjes
Since my last post is pretty lengthy, i’m gonna keep this one short and sweet.
Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
The colors are gorgeous. I thought the gold one will be dupe for UD Half Baked but it is not pigmented :(
Pros :
Affordable Price, Rp 150,000.00
Available on Maybelline counters.
Small and lightweight packaging.
The eyeshadows are well chosen, 7 shimmer with 5 mattes ranging from light, medium, to dark shades.
Eyeshadow quality is medium in my opinion. Not wow but not blah.
Cons :
You need to wear primer if you want this eyeshadow to stay all day.
You need to take your time on blending.
Not the most creamy eyeshadow but not too powdery either.
Few eyeshadows are not pigmented.
Overall :
I think this palette is great for its price, if you are a beginner this is perfect. It’s affordable, full of neutral shades, and it has guidance for several makeup look on the back of this palette. Not the best eyeshadows (IMO) but not terrible either.
2. Maybelline Velvet Matte
Pros :
Pigmented and not patchy.
Applicator made application easy.
Creamy and doesn’t dried out my lips.
Cute packaging, resembles the elixirs a lot.
Wear time, around 4 hours.
Cons :
Is not smudgeproof
This is not like liquid lipsticks so don’t expect it too stay all day.
Overall:
I really liked this product, would recommend to someone that has dry lips but want a semi-matte finish. Since the texture is more creamy, it is comfortable to wear.
That is for today’s post i hope this was helpful 😉 have a good day off! xo’s Nadya – urbanbeaute.com
Product Review : Make Over Trivia Eye Shadow in Indian Summer
Hello guys! Today i’ll be reviewing Make Over Trivia Eye Shadow, specifically the one called Indian Summer. If you want more a short and quick review, please watch my video down here :
https://youtu.be/pWYvhv9KjyY
This is how the packaging looks :
It has decent sized mirror inside plus it comes with a double-sided sponge applicator. I love all MakeOver products’ packaging and this one is not an exception!
There are 3 colors inside :
Left to Right (Toast-Rich Brown-Vibrant)
Toast is a light pink with satin finish. It has shimmer in it but nothing near metallic finish. This color is not light enough to be a highlight for my skin tone.
Rich Brown is a muted warm brown (contrary with its name). It’s a middle color so it’s not dark enough to give my eye look definition. It has satin finish with minimal amount of shimmer/glitter.
Vibrant is a vibrant redish-orange or we, Indonesian, called it Jingga. Love love love this color. It’s matte, warm, and bright.
All the colors are pigmented, creamy, blendable, and doesn’t have fall out when applied. It lasted all day on my lid without any eye primer used.
I use toast on my inner corner, rich brown on my outer corner, and toast all over my lid plus i blend this color to my crease.
Freshly applied (around 12 pm)
Around 6 pm
All the colors were still there after 6 hours.
PRO
Great Packaging
Comes with mirror & sponge applicator
High Quality of Shadows
CON
The trio is lacking a highlight & definition color. All 3 colors are more in the middle range, even the light pink is not light enough for highlight (on my skin tone)
That is for now, i hope you guys find this review helpful and see you on my next post! xo’s Nadya.
ColourPop Lippie Stix Review and Swatches (Frida, Gossip, Leather)
Hello gorgeous! Today i will be reviewing the ColourPop Lippie Stix for you. But before i’m going to the review, i want to announce that i make videos on youTube now! Go check out my first video on the “No Makeup” Makeup Look after reading this blog post please :*
ColourPop is an online brand based on Los Angeles, USA. Their website currently only ships to USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, since i live in Indonesia I have to get this babies from online distributors, specifically from mooishe.com and @dejoyofmakeup (instagram). Both online distributors are trusted and they packaged my order neatly and secure. The prize range is from IDR 115,000 to IDR 125,000. Another plus, ColourPop products are cruelty free and not tested on animals.
THE REVIEW
First, packaging. The Lippie Stix are packaged in a white simple tube, the size is perfect for you take on the go. On the bottom of the tube there is a color swatch so you can tell which color it is without opening the tube. The tip of the lipstick is small and perfectly shaped for the cupid’s bow, it makes the application so much easier. The product is only 1 g, compared to other lipstick (which usually 3-4 g) you don’t get a lot of product but this is an affordable product ($5 on their website) so i guess it’s worth the money (if you live where they ship directly to you of course).
For comparison, i insert a pic of a regular Maybelline Lipstick (4.3 grams) side by side with the Lippie Stix
The product itself has great quality, they are so creamy (even the matte!) , smooth, non-drying, long wearing, and pigmented formula. The matte ones stayed on my lips for 6-7 hours, the satin ones stayed for around 4 hours. The matte one is not completely matte, they do have the slightest shine but this makes them creamy, smooth, and doesn’t tug or drag when applied. Overall i’m impressed with the formula. oh and they do have some sweet scent to them.
Swatches
Frida (satin)
Frida is a mixed of peach and pink. A perfect nude that won’t make you look sick! This is my personal favorite, this color is created by CoffeeBreakWithDani
Gossip (satin)
Gossip is a bright blue-based pink. I like to call this kind of shade “Barbie Pink”, on my warm skin tone this almost look like a purple-pink.
Leather (matte)
Leather is a dark purple/grape color. It is one shade darker than MAC Rebel and a bit more purple. This one will leaves a beautiful berry stain on your lips.
OVERALL THOUGHTS
I really love this ColourPop Lippie Stix but I wish the prize is not that high.. 5 dollars is like IDR 65,000 but it retails here (as i said) around IDR 115,000 so it is not that “affordable” here in Indonesia than it is in USA. I understand that it is because shipping and etc but for that amount of product i really don’t want to pay that much since Maybelline, Revlon, and Wardah lipsticks are cheaper, give more amount of product and also has a good quality.
Yeah so that is my review, i think the ColourPop Lippie Stix is worth the hype and worth checking out! Have a nice day, xo’s Nadya.
