Emina Cosmetics Review
Hi lovelies! So i got a lot of emina cosmetics products from emina around the world event. I decided to review all of it for you guys. Emina is Indonesian local brand, the newest sister of Wardah and MakeOver. You can find it on sociolla.com or on your local drugstores. So let’s just jump in to the review.

City Chic CC Cake
Retail Price : Rp 44,000
It’s a cc cream in a powder formula, it has natural coverage does not look cakey, does not intensify the look of dry spots, and kept me matte for about 2-3 hours. They have 4 different shades which is awesome because it’a ranging from light pinkish shade to darker yellow undertone shade perfect for Indonesian brown / “sawo matang” skintone. I got the lightest shade, meringue, and it’s too light and too pink on me. I think peach or butterscotch would match me better. My favorite way of using this is just by itself, i don’t really like layering foundation / bb cream with a two way cake powder or something like this cc cake because if i’m not being careful it can look a bit cakey.
It comes with a mirror and a place for you to store your makeup sponge.
Star Lash Aqua Mascara
This is the most natural mascara i have in my collection. I do not like this because it doesn’t give me the volume and length i want and it’s more of a wet formula making it easy to clump and smudge. But i forgive emina because this is their first mascara 😉
Pop Rouge Pressed Eyeshadow
Retail Price : Rp 39,500
I got gelato and blue mini palettes. Each has one matte color and 2 shades with shimmer/sheen. It is not glittery or metallic, the lightest shade on gelato can even make a great highlighter in my opinion. The pigmentation and quality is good for its price. It is not the most creamy or buttery eyeshadow i have tried but again for its price, these really do a good job.
Gelato
Matte Warm Dark Brown
Shimmery Medium Pink
Shimmery Peachy-Bronze
Blue
Matte-Satin Dark Blue
Shimmery Medium Sea Blue
Shimmery Icy Light Blue
Agent of Brow Eyebrow Pencil
I have used the brown color so much! The black color is just too dark for my brown hair. I like it because it stays all day and has the perfect texture, not too creamy but not too hard. I wish it comes in more shades but hey most Indonesian girls used black and brown eyebrow pencil anyway.
Eyedo! Eyeliner Pencil
You have to really warm up the product before using it, if not it won’t give you the best pigmentation. Once it has warmed up, it’s so creamy and glides so easily on your skin. Won’t stay well on your waterline but stays all day on your lid, just make sure not to rub your eyes because it is not smudge proof.
Purple – Matte Warm Purple (border line plum)
Brown – Matte Medium Brown
Blue – Matte Bright Blue
Gold – Shimmery Light Sheer Gold
Black – Matte Black
My Favorite Things Lip Balm Stain
Retail price : Rp 48,000
These are lip balm stain, it is pigmented, moisturizing, and stays well. The only thing i don’t like is the scent. It has watermelon scent, some people like it tho it’s just my preference. And also it’s not smudgeproof or kissproof so be aware of that. I find it fade (not crack) after i eat or drink. But without eating, i would say these stays on my lips for 3-4 hours.
Librarian Queen – Soft Pinky Mauve. Lovee this for daily makeup.
Socialite Queen – Medium Pink. This color really brightens up my complexion.
Shopaholic Queen – Bright Fuchsia. It’s a bright color but not over the top.
Summer Queen – Deeper Orange/Coral. So summery and bright.
Picnic Queen – Light Yellowy Orange. It’s my least fav shade (at least on me)
Dancing Queen – Neutral to Warm Red. Loooove this shade of red
Overall, i think emina is a good brand for you that just started makeup. It’s affordable, has good quality, and the colors just perfect for young teenage out there. I wouldn’t say that this is the best of the best drugstore brand out there, but this is quite good. Some of the products performs well (especially for that price!) plus have i mentioned that they packaging is so darn cute?!
That’s all i have to say in today’s blogpost, thank you for coming in and have a nice day. xo’s Nadya Aqilla.
